Service is our most important product and it always thrills me when we add features that improve our service to you. So, I'm really exicted to announce the release of a new invoice/itinerary with many features to benefit you.
When we bookany air, car, or hotel booking that is not done through a cruise line, tour operator, or a wholesaler you will receive an email with a link to your itinerary in the new format. The new itinerary format provides you with several new features and benefits:
- Complete detail itinerary, dates, times, confirmations, etc. for each reservation, placing everything on one page
- Add the air schedule to your Outlook Calendar (or an iCal compliant calendar). So, that you can electronically add your flights, car reservation, hotel reservation directly to you electronic Calendar
- Direct link to flight status where you can check the status of your flights, and forward the itinerary to anyone meeting your flight can also use the link to check
- Flight locator id for each airline, eliminating any confusion on which locator id is used for which airline
- Clear detail of which airline operates the flights, making it clear where you go to to check in.
- Direct link to the airline's check in Web page (currently, major carriers only). You can return to your itinerary and one click takes you to the airline check in page, where you can print your boarding pass and make any changes to your seat assignment.
- Clear detail of the payments.
- Links to Travel Information, such as passport and visa requirements, luggage rules, airport information, security information (including security point wait times), and weather. If you're in doubt about how many bag, what size, if you need a passport, etc, you can link to the answers.
- Link to destination guides, where you can print out things to see and do at the destinations, along with airport information.
